Soulayma Werghemmi is an accomplished professional with over seven years of experience in management and monitoring and evaluation in various organizations, including international NGOs, local CSOs, diplomacy, and the donor community. She has held mid-senior positions with organizations such as the British Council, Fondation Hanns Seidel, We Love Kairouan, and Islamic Relief Worldwide organization, successfully implementing multi-year programs in Tunisia covering diverse human rights issues and development projects. Currently, Soulayma is pursuing her MA in Human Rights and International Humanitarian laws from the University of Carthage, where she is conducting research on the role of women in peacebuilding. She also holds a bachelor's degree in English teaching, which highlights her skills in coaching and effective communication. Her academic research has primarily focused on women's rights movements, youth development, and social inclusion. Additionally, she is fluent in English, French, and Arabic. Soulayma is a firm believer that teamwork and passion for organizational goals boost creativity and lead to faster organizational growth and impact. She has also demonstrated her commitment to personal growth and community development as the founder of the first book club in Kairoauan and an English Club at her faculty during her bachelor years. Furthermore, Soulayma founded the Chicas Lab platform, one of the first platforms in Tunisia that seek topics on women's sexuality and societal pressures. Her commitment to promoting women's rights, personal development, and community building is evident in her professional and personal endeavors.
